New Books and Old Clothes

Happy Birthday, Ainin Sofia!
hope you had a wonderful birthday after I wished you through text. (:

Anyway, I went to One Utama yesterday with my family.
My dad was searching for a new fruit juicer (since my old one rosak), my brother was searching for boot-cut black jeans and I was searching for books to buy since I had the MPH voucher to use.
I went with my mum to MPH. :D

I ended up buying two books.
1. "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold
2. "Starting Over" by Tony Parsons

I actually spotted the first book right next to "The Time Traveller's Wife", so thinking it'd be something similar to TTTW, I took one right off the shelf. (I read TTTW a year ago, and actually loved it)

The second book; I actually intended to buy Tony Parson's other book, "Man and Boy", but I couldn't find it, so I decided to buy SO instead.

Currently reading "Starting Over", and I quite like it.
Planning to read "The Lovely Bones" during the plane ride next Friday to Melbourne.

I was merely reading "Starting Over" in the family room this afternoon and heard my father calling me from downstairs.
I went downstairs and he opened a suitcase full of my mother's old clothes, and then he told me to try the clothes on.
I did, and I fit perfectly in the high-waisted skirts, pants, shirts and even a pair of Calvin Klein jeans.
My mother was there too, helping me to button the skirts and pants which were buttoned at the back.
She looked at me all the while and wondered how small she was back then.

I thought it was kind of weird, since I'm 13 and her clothes which she wore in the 30's fit me perfectly.

Oh well, at least I have some vintage clothes to add to my wardrobe now.
Thanks, mum. (;
