Earth Hour
Saturday, March 28, 2009

Earth Hour was a blast. :DD
Webcammed with 'Rene, chatted with a lot of people on MSN and even sms-ed a lot of people.
(Webcammed with Emily and Nazran, too. But I didn't see them lah. ._.)

Overall: Very fun.

Just now, when the lights were off and my second brother came out of his room and into the family room (where I was), he went, "Eh, why is it so dark??", he forgot I turned off the lights for Earth Hour. o_o
Then after he asked that, my maid suddenly asked from downstairs, "Kenapa tutup lampu di atas pulak??"
Bwahaha. :P

I used two laptops during Earth Hour; which is why I don't think I actually saved the Earth. -.-
Haha, but at least I turned off the lights, okay!

Happy night for me.
(:

*oh, and if anyone wants to see proof of 'Rene and my retarded-ness, go look at her blog.

Blues
Friday, March 27, 2009

Ish, I hate fevers. Especially high fevers.
'cause, you see, today is
Hari Sukan in my school (sorry didn't mention it to you all), and I'm not going.
Yeah, you can probably guess why by now.

Me + high fever = pening, sweaty; how to march later?
-__________-

Great.
Perfect timing, o'great fever of mine.
Why couldn't you come yesterday? Or on ANY normal school day!?
Oh, I know why! Because I ponteng Pancaragam yesterday.
Graaarh. -__-

And, eh, if anything exciting/fun happens later on at school; may I kill myself?
Breathe it carbon monoxide leh.
:D

Eh, I'm going back to bed. If I think about it any longer, I'll probably start crying or something emotional like that.
This sucks.
Big time.

Quickie
Tuesday, March 24, 2009

I'm now the Pen. Ketua Kelas in my class, 1 Aktif - due to most of the students being PS, PSS, etc.
I got 4th place in Lompat Jauh - 0.01cm difference to 3rd place. Grr.
Practiced choral speaking for 5 periods today. (I think)
Got scolded by Pn. Zaharani (science teacher) for not passing up my exercise books yesterday/early morning today, but see, here's my reason for not passing it up;
wait, no, nevermind. Reason's long; urgh.

Oh, and; choral speaking performance at SMK Damansara Utama tomorrow.
So, probably only going to learn Geography when we get back to school.
Wish me luck! :D

'till then,

Last Day of Holidays
Sunday, March 22, 2009

Huh.
Today's the last day of holidays and tomorrow we'll all go back to school again.
Whoopee.

Outing Pictures (Photo Collage)
Saturday, March 21, 2009

A picture holds a thousand words;

Outing Day!
Friday, March 20, 2009

Hm, so on Wednesday I went to One Utama with my DJ1 friends. (:
Was fun, but I guess I made some people angry. Sorry!

So, who went?
Mei Ping, Jazmeen, Irene, Syafinas, Yohanna, Kay Li and Jennifer.
& there was a girl who went with us (she's from Taman Sea), Ashley. :B
I thought she was older than us, so yeah, sorry didn't really layan her!

Uhm, I went to Mei's house and met up with Kay there. Then, we went to
OU; her dad sent us.
When we were getting out, I forgot my sling bag; so I was like, "OH SHIT!" and cepat2 grabbed my bag which was still in the car. (>_<) Later on, we met up with the others in
GSC.
Jen shouted, "Lisa!!" and hugged me; so, I just awkwardly hugged her back. xD
Eh, I also saw Jezzey there. *ahem ahem*
:D

After Jen and I bought nine tickets for "
The Race to Witch Mountain", we walked around OU, in search of the others (since they went to Starbucks).
Soon after getting lost and the like, we found them. Then, some of us went to
Baskin Robbins while the others stayed at Starbucks. I was in the BR group.  :DD
Bought 'Gold Medal Ribbon' and saw that Jaz didn't buy anything, so I asked her why. Her answer; "Boycott."
-____-

Uh, saw "
Little Miss Lucky" and "Little Miss Giggles" T-shirts in F.O.S.
But, it costs RM44 or so. Expensive, much?
Then, we went to the '
Playground' section in OU. Uhm, I don't exactly remember when, but we went to the arcade, too. :B
When I was playing basketball with Jaz, she threw the ball and the ball bounced back; thus, hitting my glasses and making the metal bend. So, senget when I pakai. D:
But, whatever. I got it fixed in the end.
After that, we went back to
GSC to watch the movie.
Didn't have time to go to the batting cages. :/
BUT, while waiting for the movie to start (it was still early), I saw Arif, Akmal and er, one other guy. (sorry! >_<) My vision was blurry since I didn't wear my glasses. But, I heard Arif say, "Wei, tu Alisa!". .___.
They didn't recognize Jaz, meh? She was right next to me.
Later on, we bought popcorn, drinks and went into the cinema.

Eh, the movie was okay, I guess.
There were some boring parts here and there.
But overall; so-so. (:

Eh, skipping to when we were at
McDonalds;
some of us bought food and ate while others (*cough*Irene*cough*) stole food.  :P
Wanted to take a picture of our feet altogether, but some didn't want to.
No semangat, weih.
-____-

& eh, according to Ashley, a guy who passed by Jezzey and his gang licked his lips when he looked at them.
Creepy. O.O

Uh, pictures on the next post.

Quick Fix
Tuesday, March 17, 2009

Short update; no pictures, sorry.

Okay, I'm going out to One Utama with my primary school friends tomorrow;
Mei Ping, Irene, Syafinas, Yohanna, Kay Li and Jennifer.
*not sure if Jazmeen's joining us or not; Nazran cancelled last minute to go watch the same movie at Pavillion (gold class). ._.

Going to watch "The Race to Witch Mountain", as Emily did (lol).
After that, we're going to lepak in OU; hopefully we'll go to the batting cages! :D

Anyway, having a tad bit of a problem now since I can't tumpang 'Rene to OU tomorrow, but I sms-ed Kay just now and am waiting to get her reply.
'cause probably going to her house, then tumpang Mei, and the three of us go to OU together.

At least I hope so.
*gulps*

GOOD NIGHT, EVERYONE!
-Alisa

EDIT: Going to Mei's house terus, instead.

Family Farm?
Monday, March 9, 2009

Went to my so-called "family farm" this afternoon/evening.  :D
2pm to 5pm.

Uhm, listened to a nifty CD that I found in my oldest brother's car. My mum uses the car now, though. Haha.
It was a long journey to my "family farm", so I mainly listened to the CD and read
TTTW on the way. My mum was sort of surprised to see that I didn't get dizzy when I read the book while on the road since I normally do get dizzy.
(:

Once we arrived at the farm, I got scared of the dogs, saw big chickens and then I walked around with my parents, looking at what's new since it's been a long time since I went there. Mum showed me some pineapple plants & durian trees.
There was a new, nice hut made out of wood (bamboo, maybe?).
There was also a huge reban ayam (or whatever it's called); it's supposedly for
15, 000 chickens. O_O
(I have no idea why there are going to be so many!)

I'm sure I'll be freaked out once there are 15, 000 chickens at the farm.

Later on, my parents and I sat in the hut and my mum and I sat on the wooden chairs; I read the book I brought along and ate chocolate that I bought before.  :D
Soon, I got bored and decided to take pictures of random things using my dad's phone.
He took a picture of my mum and I before that, though.
Bleh.

After that, we went to a nursery. (for plants)
Took pictures of some flowers and plants. Dad also took some pictures.

Then we went to buy pizza at the
Domino's in Taman Tun since the one in DJ was retarded.
One dude (the cashier) was blur like hell and it made my dad angry.
LOL.
(Uh, I also saw some freaky guys outside a bar near Domino's staring at either my dad or me when we were walking - which made me scared. >_
__<)

Soon after, we went home, ate, and here I am now! (:

*will update pictures soon, hopefully. Not tonight, though. Sorry.

School tomorrow, urgh.

Coraline
Sunday, March 8, 2009

I'm bored, so yeah - blogging.

Anyway, the main point of this post is about a movie called, "
Coraline", that I really want to watch fully.
It's a 3D animated, horror, children's movie.
Although I have a thing for horror movies (makes me freaking scared), I'm tempted to watch this movie. I don't know why!
Ahahaha. :D

Coraline is a fantasy/horror novella by British author Neil Gaiman, published in 2002 by Bloomsbury and Harper Collins. It was awarded the 2003 Hugo Award for Best Novella, the 2003 Nebula Award for Best Novella, and the 2002 Bram Stoker Award for Best Work for Young Readers. It has been compared to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland because of its surrealism and plot based on an alternate-reality, and has been adapted into a 2009 stop-motion film directed by Henry Selick.
---
From the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Based on the award-winning childrens book by Neil Gaiman.
A fairytale nightmare handmade in 3D.
Featuring the voices of Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, John Hodgman and Ian McShane.

Trailer;

Is it released in cinemas?
If it is, anyone willing enough to go and watch with me?
Hold my hand. :D
(it's not that scary, but I figure it's always scarier in cinemas. What with all the vibrations and stuff. ._.)

Anyone? (:

Examination, Day Three & Four

Update about day three & four of exams.
Short update, sorry?

4th March 2009, Wednesday
Pendidikan Sivik - Ok, I guess. Didn't study much for it, so I'm not so sure I'd get an 'A'.
Bahasa Cina, Bahasa Tamil - :D
Pendidikan Islam - Studied like crazy before the test, so I hope I get good marks. It was hard, but Maths was harder for me. (yes, I suck)

5th March 2009, Thursday
Kemahiran Hidup - Hard. I got a 'B' for it when we checked with teacher on the same day; 76%, I think.
Pendidikan Seni - Okay, I guess. I took option 4; drew a cyclinder, circle & cone, then shaded them. Hope I did well! (:

Okay, done.
Btw, I got a 'B' for BM;
74%. ):
Luckily, teacher changed it to - "Sesiapa yang dapat 'C' kena round satu sekolah dengan sepanduk".
'cause a lot of people got 'B'.
Mwahaha(:

& I got 87% for Geografi
Glad that I got an 'A', but sad that I didn't get 90% and above. ):
Ashley got
98%.
Smart girl, pfft.

BYE!

Examination, Day Two
Tuesday, March 3, 2009

Short update.

Summaries for today's tests;
English - Not all too easy as primary school (duh), found some tricky questions, but hopefully I got the right answers. Um, we also had to write out a summary which we haven't even learned how to do yet.  -___-
Geografi - Good, good. I even did some questions before, so I (somewhat) know the answers to those questions. XD  There were tricky questions, too.
Mathematics - I hentam most of the questions, 'nuff said.

Hey, I just realised something...
Every test that's extremely hard is usually the last test of the day. Eg: Sejarah, Maths.
& Agama is the last test for tomorrow, too.
Is this a sign?
Damn, I'm seriously going to fail Agama tomorrow...

Mm, I've been thinking; should I or should I not put a picture of myself (in my school uniform? :P) instead of the colourful flower on my blog?
Think.

Back to studying.

CATCH YA LATER

Examination, Day One
Monday, March 2, 2009

Okay, so I had my first day of exam at my new school in a new classroom full of new classmates and the exam papers were made by new teachers.
Bleurgh, all so brand new and unfamilliar.

Anyway, here's the summary for the tests today;
Bahasa Malaysia - So-so, medium. Thankfully I finished it in time, I thought I wouldn't because of the ringkasan.
Science - Easier than I thought, but I'll probably lose marks because of the SI Units. ):
Sejarah - FREAKING HARD. I hentam most of the questions, dammit.

So, overall?
Uhm, not expecting to get an 'A' - nope, none.
Maybe I'll get an 'A' for Science, though.

HOPEFULLY I'LL GET ALL 'A's!
(hey, I can dream, can't I?)

By the way, I sent text messages to all my friends in my present school yesterday night, wishing them all "Good luck".
Tradition goes on, eh? (:
I still remember
6K before exams started - people shouting/saying/whispering "Good luck" to each other, people shaking hands (not touching), etc. etc.
Good times, good times...
I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH, DAMMIT.  )':

Eh eh, I think I'm known as the weird kid in class now.  o_o
'cause I do strange things when I'm bored. (it started after I finished doing the Science exam, then Sejarah - what else was I supposed to do?)
Let's see - I wrote my name repeatedly on the thick layer of dust that was on the metal frame of the window beside me using my ruler, I attempted to pull a string near my desk with my ruler, I wrote '
SEJARAH?  ):  D:  T_T' on the painted metal part of my desk, etc. etc.
I swear, everyone who looked at me and saw what I was doing, looked at me with a 'O_o' face.
But, it's creative, no?
:D

Oh yeah, I talked to my mum in the evening about how all the pretty girls in my present class make me feel. (LOL)
It's like - pretty, pretty, pretty, plain/ugly, pretty, pretty, pretty...
(yes, I'm plain/ugly)
...and it doesn't help that Jazmeen always ends up sitting near me.  -_____-

Okay, I better go study for my exams tomorrow. (I fell asleep just now, okay.)

BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE(:
-Alisa

P/S: 'Rene, I was actually at school when you messaged me on MSN this morning, I think my MSN just made me go online.  o_o

Abomination - Examination
Sunday, March 1, 2009

Have you ever realised that the words 'abomination' and 'examination' sound close in pronouncation? Ahaha, weird fact. (:

Abomination
a⋅bom⋅i⋅na⋅tion [uh-bom-uh-ney-shuhn]
–noun
1. anything abominable; anything greatly disliked or abhorred.
2. intense aversion or loathing; detestation: He regarded lying with abomination.
3. a vile, shameful, or detestable action, condition, habit, etc.: Spitting in public is an abomination.

See, Abomination = Bad
        Examination = Bad

:D

Since my class is Kelas KRK, everyone is expected to get all 'A''s in all subjects, so yeah - PRESSURE.
& if anyone gets a 'B' for BM, we have to go around the whole school holding a sepanduk which says, "SAYA JANJI AKAN MENDAPAT 'A' UNTUK EXAM YANG AKAN DATANG" or something.
See how much stress and fear we go through?  T_T

My exam timetable
Monday - Bahasa Malaysia, Sains, Sejarah.
Tuesday - Bahasa Inggeris, Geografi, Matematik.
Rabu - Pendidikan Sivik, Pendidikan Islam.
Khamis - Kemahiran Hidup (KT/ERT/PK), Pendidikan Seni (Lukisan) <-- YAY SENI.

Okay, best of luck to everyone for their upcoming exams! (:
Hopefully you all get high marks on your exams and get high positions in class.
Pray for me too, okay? -I'm competing with ultra smart people for goodness's sake.-

GOOD LUCK.
-Alisa
